The ideal candidate will be studying changes in splicing of the eIF2alpha kinase, PERK, during endoplasmic reticulum stress as part of the study conducted in Dr. Kelly Jordan-Sciutto's research lab.

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this position will include:

Perform qPCR, RNA isolation, and immunoblotting
Culture of primary neurons and astrocytes as well as other standard laboratory technology
Lab maintenance
Other duties as assigned
