Job Summary:

We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position: Sr. Associate Athletics Director - External Relations and Revenue. The position is responsible for the overall coordination and administration of revenue generation, marketing, and communications for Eastern Washington University's Athletic Department that supports a diverse population of over 300 student-athletes, representing 14 varsity Division I sports.
The Sr. Associate Athletics Director - External Relations and Revenue provides leadership of the External Department, including activities related to Marketing, Ticketing, EAF, Communications and Digital Media. Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree
3 years of marketing, promotions and/or revenue generation experience
Supervisory experience
Demonstrated interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility, and/or diversity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree
5 years of marketing, promotions and/or revenue generation experience
NCAA Division I collegiate external affairs experience.

Responsibility / Duty: Revenue Development
Develop revenue generation initiatives for athletic department & implement approved initiatives. Also provide guidance and oversight for the following revenue generating areas and provide directives to revenue generation team:

Ticketing & Tailgate
EAF Oversight
Events

Responsibility / Duty: Marketing and Brand Identity
Develop, coordinate and implement annual marketing and promotional strategy for department of intercollegiate athletics to include:

Develop and implement yearly athletic strategic marketing plan.
Serve as day-to-day athletic department liaison to multi-media rights holder (Learfield).
Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of department initiatives.
Direct athletic marketing campaign within framework of the universitys overall marketing plan.
Serves as the departmental liaison with media representatives and outlets.

Supervise and provides leadership for areas of the athletic department at the discretion of the Director of Athletics including:

Media Relations,

Marketing & Promotions,
Athletic Game-Day Operations

Oversee performance of direct reports and staff under, conduct performance evaluations & recommend personnel actions.

Travel will be required.
This position, during the course of university employment will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value; as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 16. Salary Information: The salary for this position is $78,000.
