Position Summary:
Event Safety/Security Officer provides a multitude of services that provides a safe and secure environment for the university community for events happening throughout campus. This position also plays a key role in establishing and strengthening relationships with on campus and off campus stakeholders through providing exemplary customer service.

Administrative Operations mission is to provide stewardship of multi-use facilities, administration of conferences, events and activities, business services and solutions while implementing a culture of safety benefiting the education of students, recruitment of faculty, staff and students and continued enrollment efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:

Using common office computer applications including word-processing, spreadsheet, email and browser applications.
Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals.
Following documented policies and procedures.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Due to the duties of this position, successful candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of safety and security operations best practices.
1 year experience as a safety/security officer.
Experience that shows ability to communicate effectively in oral and in written communication.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Ability to move about and between venues for extended periods of time up to a full day of work.
Work inside and outside as required.
