Assistant Coach of Men's and Women's Indoor Track (Temporary)

Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a temporary Assistant Coach of Men's and Women's Indoor Track. This position is for six months (January - June 2019).
The candidate would be expected to: assist head coach with preparation for and management of home track and field and cross country meets; assist student-athletes at practice and in competition with event-specific instruction.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal residence, Bachelor's degree, CPR and NCAA recruiting certification must be attained within six months from date of hire
Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Required Years of Experience:
Other Requirements:
Experience with high caliber (NCAA or national) athletes in all of the Olympic throwing competitions. Computer literate.
Sound knowledge of and enthusiasm for the technical aspects of the sport. Technical proficiency in the throws and multi-events as well as other areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Experience in an NCAA Division I setting. USA Track and Field certification.
