The UVU Planned/Annual Giving Department is looking for the right candidate to fill an Annual Giving Coordinator position. Through fundraising and networking efforts, our department helps students, faculty, and staff have the resources needed to succeed and move the institution into the future! The UVU Planned/Annual Giving Department is looking for the right candidate to enhance the department's ability to extend outreach efforts to the community, alumni, and UVU employees to engage and educate on opportunities to support the university. Through fundraising and networking efforts, our department helps students, faculty, and staff have the resources needed to succeed and move the institution into the future! Summary of Responsibilities


  • Assist the Annual Giving team to support the development, execution, and assessment of extensive fundraising initiatives focused on boosting donor participation and philanthropic revenue. Coordinate a comprehensive calendar of Annual Giving solicitation activities and manage project strategies and deadlines. Collaborate with the Annual Giving team and campus partners to help implement campaign strategies. Assist at fundraising events. Assist with collecting data and maintaining all donation tracking sheets for all fundraising efforts throughout the year.
  • Manages the annual giving calendar, including scheduling appeals, segmentation, and solicitation timelines, to maximize donor engagement and retention. Collaborates with the Director of Annual Giving to set fundraising goals, track progress, and evaluate outcomes to develop future strategies. Manages ClickUp to ensure project deadlines and tasks are completed. Schedules department and team meetings, takes minutes, creates ClickUp tasks for assignments, and sends reminders for incomplete tasks.
  • Tracks campaigns and compiles statistical data for presentation objectives. Manages JIRA requests and ensures data accuracy and timeliness. Responds to marketing inquiries promptly and effectively to support campaign objectives.
  • Manages office inventory, supplies, and swag, including those required for campus events and tabling activities, to ensure operational readiness. Manages team culture aspects such as birthdays, retreats, and employee appreciation.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate's degree and two years professional experience in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Public Relations, English, or a related field, or Associate degree with 2 years' experience in a related field.

  • Knowledge of best practices for organizing, managing, and tracking tasks.
  • Evidence of experience with institutional advancement, nonprofit, or higher education focus, or professional level business with administrative, customer service, client management, and retention practices.
Skills
  • Innovative, strategic thinker with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic, robust attention to detail, superb organizational skills and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and steward relationships with donors, alumni and friends of the institution.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, and Adobe Suite.
  • Proficient in project management software, such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday, etc.

  • Demonstrated competency with a comprehensive and contemporary donor database system such as Blackbaud Raisers Edge preferred.
