Adjunct Faculty Economics
The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its nine tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe.
Responsibilities:
The Department of Economics at Northeastern University seeks applicants for adjunct faculty in its undergraduate program on the Northeastern New York campus for the Fall 2026 semester. Applicants qualified to teach microeconomics and macroeconomics at the introductory level are encouraged to apply. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for the preparation and administration of assigned classes, including administering exams, holding appropriate office hours, and grading. Classes are taught on-site on the Northeastern New York campus, which is located in Manhattan, New York.
Positions are contingent upon enrollment, funding, and programmatic need.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Economics preferred; master's degree required for undergraduate teaching. College-level teaching experience preferred.

Rate: $1,5710.10 per credit hour
