Position Description
Performs advanced, specialized work to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects and programs. Work is performed under minimal supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment. Works on special projects as assigned. May substitute for supervisor during his/her absence.

About the Department and/or College
The mission of STEM CORE is to integrate and deepen the impact of STEM education, outreach and research in West Texas and the Lubbock Region. More information can be found at www.stem.ttu.edu.
Major/Essential Functions
- Provide media and design support for STEM CORE events and programming for publication on social media and in traditional dissemination methods. (25%)
- Maintain departmental publicity and image across TTU and the community: center website, monthly newsletters, university mailers, social media, etc. (25%)
- Ensure compliance of all social media, print and digital media and website to comply with state and legislative requirements. (15%)
- Manage student assistant media team: manage hours, projects, daily tasks and schedules (20%)
- Facilitate execution of reporting and other projects as assigned, including but not limited to, grant tracking, center level reports and annual reports. (15%)
Required Qualifications
High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, Canva, CapCut and Motion Array is helpful.
- Previous experience managing or editing a website (familiarity with a content management system) is helpful. HTML experience is not necessary.
- Previous experience managing a variety of media outlets is preferred.
Pay Range
$23.08 - $30.63 - $37.69
