Position Description
Performs support and coordinative work in direct support of an administrative team of a specific administrative office or department. Coordinates and assists with functions such as planning, researching, budgeting and program implementation and evaluation. Performs responsible and complex office support duties, thus relieving the administrator of these duties. Work is performed under administrative supervision.

About the Department and/or College


Major/Essential Functions
Provide administrative support to the Institute Director. Coordinate logistics for law enforcement and forensic science training events. Communicate and collaborate with local/state/federal/international law enforcement agencies regarding training opportunities and Institute initiatives. Maintain training records, participant documentation and program files. Develop and distribute flyers, promotional materials and training announcements. Prepare, distribute, and track training registrations, certificates and related materials. Maintain mailing lists and stakeholder contact information. Provide administrative support for Institute sponsored conferences, workshops and outreach events. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in job related field plus one year responsible experience. Additional specific job related experience may substitute for required education on a year for year basis.

Must be fluent in English and Spanish to coordinate with international law enforcement stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
Ability to type and proofread documents. Be highly organized and attention to detail.

Pay Range
$19.47 - $25.29 -$31.15
