Major/Essential Functions
In line with TTU's strategic priorities to engage and empower a dynamic student body, applicants should have experience working with a breadth of student populations at the undergraduate level.


Faculty Qualifications
Specific required qualifications are:
  1. MA in Spanish Literature and Culture, MA in Hispanic Linguistics, or MA in Foreign Language Teaching;
  2. Minimum two years of teaching Spanish. Graduate teaching as instructor of record may count towards this requirement.
  3. Must have a demonstrated record and strong commitment to teaching excellence.
  4. Evidence of leadership experience.


Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply:
  1. Demonstrated success in project collaboration.
  2. Experience and success in online teaching.
  3. Experience as a dedicated mentor.
  4. Experience in curriculum design and program innovation.
  5. Experience and interest in international education recruitment, teaching, and program development.
