Position Description
Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

About the Department and/or College
The Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration is AACSB accredited and houses the Lyons School of Accounting that holds separate AACSB accreditation. The college offers the BBA degree with majors in accounting, energy commerce, finance, information technology, management, marketing, and supply chain management. Several formats of the MBA program are offered in fulltime, weekend, and online modalities in Lubbock, the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Houston, and San Antonio. The College offers MS degrees in accounting, data science, finance, and marketing research and analytics. A Ph.D. in business administration is offered with tracks in accounting, finance, management, management information systems, and marketing. With a faculty of over 140 and a staff that exceeds 80, the college enrolls over 5,000 undergraduate and 800 graduate students.
Major/Essential Functions
- Communicating via email to current members as well as past/future members regarding upcoming programs and events. a. Including but not limited to: Institutional Premium Membership Program, Institutional Basic Membership Program, Short Course Programs, DSDP, Research Methods Education Program.
- Designing and implementing email campaigns on Constant Contact. Maintaining Constant Contact email user database (deleting old email addresses, etc). Maintaining primary contact user base, assigning primary contact status when prompted Keep track of membership renewal. Answering all emails regarding any general inquiry.
- Providing technical assistance when necessary.
- Developing timelines for program launches, promotion, and fee schedules.
- Organizing the physical events, including (a) Speaker accommodation (lodging, travel, stipend). (b) Any necessary catering. (c) Room assignments, reserving spaces for events.
- Development of strategy and overall planning for global market of RMEP, updating gradebook once assessments are completed, creating new assessments within Qualtrics for year's new webcasts presentations, providing technical assistance to users and developing digital badges.
- Organizing accommodation opportunities for the participants of the short courses. Develop and coordinate market research via surveys and focus groups to assist in the revision of existing programs and the development of new programs. After list of complementary spots is developed for special guests, assisting in the registration process for these spots.
- Designing updates about the previous and future events, email communications, website posts, Facebook posts, YouTube channel, as well as possible blog posts.
- Designing flyers to be physically posted as well as emailed. Once promotional discounts are decided on, create email campaigns to send to those users for which the discounts apply. Sending promo emails to local schools surrounding the program area, as well as to member schools. Sending promo emails to academic units at TTU.
- Aiding in the development of instructor videos, if missing or outdated. When updated, send the videos within email campaigns.
- Developing and coordinating relations with CARMA partner organizations, including short course hosts and professional associations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects. Additional job related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

$53,900 - $70,100 - $86,200
