The Boston University School of Medicine is hiring an Administrative Assistant to serve equally the Genome Science Institute and the master's Program in Genetic Counseling in the Graduate School of Medicine starting January 2021. This is an entry level role to provide support by coordinating the logistics of office administration for the BU Genome Science Institute (GSI), the Graduate Program in Genetics and Genomics (GPGG) and supporting the administrative duties of the BUCAMED Data Science Core (DSC). In addition, this role will provide general requested purchasing, record keeping, assisting in event planning and communications to promote events will be required among other administrative tasks to facilitate the functionality and projects. Familiarity with Higher Education and Biology research would be a plus. This full-time position will require on-campus work during the work week for the logistical task at the Boston University School of Medicine in the South End district of Boston. One benefit of this full-time position is tuition remission at BU, with class time accommodated if the classes do not interfere with the position's events coordination responsibilities
