Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Secondary Location:
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Supports the department by collaborating with regional boards, coordinators, and program managers. Assists leadership with strategic projects, program compliance and strategies critical to GYSTC (Georgia Youth Science & Technology Centers, Inc). Makes recommendations on the implementation of key initiatives. Monitors assigned projects and/or initiatives and ensures accurate and timely deliverables and completion of services for statewide organizations.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitors the operations of assigned regional centers
2. Responsible for deliverables from the regional centers
3. Assists in the creations of systems and processes as needed
4. Ensures compliance of processes and procedures for regional centers
5. Coordinates with leadership, program managers and regional coordinators to ensure successful programs are in place which includes coordination of space, on-site services, and support staff, etc.
6. Collects, analyzes, and reports data related to customer and constituent concerns to leadership
7. Collaborates with leadership on the development and implementation of strategic priorities
8. Coordinates and facilitates project related meetings, sets clear objectives and successful outcomes
9. Supports leadership in developing strategies and organizational communications to improve staff efficiency, flow and problem solving for better services to school districts and other constituents
10. Works in close collaboration with GYSTC Regional Board of Directors, and Executive Director developing cohesive communications and marketing strategies for the GYSTC
11. Assists in the development and administration of departmental policies and procedures pertaining to communications, compliance, and reporting
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license
Required Experience
Three (3) years of experience in administrative role
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with deliverables, compliance, and reporting
Experience in event planning
Experience working for a non-profit organization

Able to assist with the develop of innovative solutions and approaches to meet the goals of the organization

Able to establish internal support for methods used to complete projects

Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one-time meeting assigned deadlines
Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate
action
KNOWLEDGE
Experience with IRS and Secretary of State Filings as they relate to 501(c)3s
Knowledge of non-profit organization policies and procedures
Knowledge, skills, and ability to create and deliver effective presentation for executive-level
communications, conferences, information sessions, and training purposes
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
