Job Title: Clinic Team Lead – ARTS Westside Center for Change

Job Summary:
The Clinic Team Lead is responsible for various aspects of patient treatment and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) at the clinic as well as perform direct service provision such as individual and group therapy, treatment planning and abstinence monitoring as necessary. This position will serve as the Clinic Manager's designee when the Clinic Manager is absent or unavailable. The Clinic Team Lead will coordinate and participate in meetings with clinic team members and ARTS staff, as well as representatives from community agencies, hospitals/medical facilities, drug courts, human service departments, criminal justice programs and/or other referral sources. This position will require constantly analyzing developments and situations both inside and outside of the clinic to make strategic recommendations to the Clinic Manager, Program Directors, and/or the AOP Director. The Clinic Team Lead will provide professional, clinical, and/or administrative support for the clinic as needed, or perform other duties as directed by the Clinic Manager. This position will provide services or supervision to off-site activities such as problem-solving courts and the Medication Mobile Unit.
The Clinic Team Lead will support the clinic's efforts around quality assurance and standards compliance for its operations, including but not limited to licensures, certifications, patient treatment services, and other administrative requirements. This position will help plan and implement various professional development and training activities for clinic staff and assist in tracking and reporting staff compliance and completion of required trainings in all facets of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, maintain, and report on all aspects of patient referral programs with partner agencies and criminal justice and/or social services programs.
- Provide clinical supervision to other staff, and to employees who are working towards clinical licensure/certification.
- Establish expectations and provide employee performance feedback on an ongoing basis through formal and informal meetings and the annual performance reviews.
- Ensure staff are meeting all training, certification, and licensure requirements.
- Perform as the Clinic Manager's designee by exercising signatory and supervisory authority during times when the Clinic Manager is absent, to serve the interests of the clinic and patients.
- Oversee staff schedules at WCC.
- Collect, manage, and report AOP census information, PHI, clinic performance, and other data pertaining to daily activities at AOP.

Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Arvada, CO.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Three (3) years of professional experience providing mental health, behavioral health, or substance abuse treatment to clients.
- Possess a valid registration in good standing with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a Certified Addictions Specialist (CAS), Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPC-C), Clinical Social Worker Candidate (SW-C), Licensed Addiction Counselor Candidate (LAC-C), or Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFT-C), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Additionally, an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Previous professional experience in managing or providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs and/or interventions to patients with substance use disorder.
- Previous professional experience in overseeing criminal justice programs, such as city/county probation programs, and problem-solving courts.
- Previous professional experience providing behavioral health services to clients who are involved with probation, and/or parole.
- Experience using an Electronic Health Record system.
- Experience providing clinical supervision to clinicians/counselors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Expertise on effective interventions with the criminal justice population.
- Proficient with therapeutic confrontation and structures.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Colorado Driver's License or obtain one within 30 days of hire date.
- Must possess and maintain current and valid registration in good standing with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) throughout employment in this position.
- Must agree to successfully complete fingerprinting, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $76,517 – $97,329.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
