The Research Technician in the Flow Cytometry Shared Resource will provide assistance in the preparation and analysis of flow cytometry samples. The incumbent will:

Be responsible for the operation and routine maintenance of the LSR-Fortessa.
Have a specific emphasis on the staining and analysis of DNA cell cycle samples.

Work Interactions

The incumbent will interact with various researchers whose samples are being analyzed to explain results and to give technical support about sample preparation.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science
Three (3) years of lab experience required
Experience in flow cytometry preferred but not required

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$41,926.00 - $65,090.00

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
