Job Description
With oversight and training from the PI, this position will deliver the FamLit intervention and attention-control interventions. Assigned to deliver the FamLit intervention to patients and care partners in the initial in-person session and phone booster sessions. The study staff will receive extensive training (and re-training) in delivering FamLit intervention/attention-only before implementing the study and communicate with the PI on a weekly basis regarding any issues encountered during the intervention sessions.
This position will also learn the basics of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and standard operating procedures (SOP); collaborate and consult with other health professionals in study participation and to ensure protocol compliance; and other duties as assigned. This person will communicate with the principal investigator and project coordinator regarding any issues encountered during intervention delivery (and other assigned study activities, if needed).
Responsibilities
- Experience in healthcare in practices such as cardiovascular care, especially heart failure patient care
- Highschool diploma
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Must be able to work well and collaborate with others who hold a wide variety of positions.
- Ability to work autonomously, problem solve and use critical thinking.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Master's degree in Nursing
- RN license
Work Location: Knoxville, TN onsite
Pay Range: $19 - $25/hour
Hours/week: 20 hours/week
