Responsibilities*
Duties will include but are not limited to:Coordinate and execute designated clinical trial experiments, including the procurement of space, supplies, and related equipment; screening of patients, data analysis/processing and diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.Manage all patient research data; prepare appropriate reports for investigators and/or sponsors including maintaining and completing the supplied case report forms; project reports as required by sponsor, coordination and participation in site visits with the sponsor.Manage and coordinate: data related to patient participation in studies, work flow as needed by multiple studies.Participate in conferences related to the project and/or its progress. Act as liaison between patients, investigators, nurses, other departments, sponsors, vendors and regulatory agencies.Coordinate recruitment of patients and patient education relative to study participation.Participate in the development of general goals for the research project and in the planning of the field work; plan and coordinate the work of graduate students and other support personnel; and serve as a consultant to the project director, faculty and staff.Initiate original investigations and/or develop research projects specific to cardiology.Collect data, supervise studies, compile and interpret results.

Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree and experience in a health science discipline. Must have exceptional attention to detail, understanding of compliance issues with regard to human subject research, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent computers skills (Word, Excel, online databases). Familiarity, experience, and compliance with regulatory aspects is a must. Familiarity with EPIC (Mi-CHART) HER systems preferable.Understands and demonstrates the core concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care (PFCC), including: Respect and Dignity, Information Sharing, Participation, and Collaboration.

Desired Qualifications*
Experience using M-Pathways and E-Research. Ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of 45 CFR part 46, and 21 CFR parts 50 and 56. ACRP, CRCC or SoCRA, CCRP.

Work Schedule
20 hours per week. Hours negotiable and based upon research needs.
