Position Summary
The Career Design Center invites applicants for the Recruitment Coordinator position. The successful candidate will be highly organized and adaptive to a seasonal recruitment calendar and vital in supporting recruiting activities with employers and alumni that promote student success. In this role, you will work with campus partners and external stakeholders to advance the University at Buffalo's goal to become a Top 25 public research university.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating end-to-end planning, logistics, and communications for on-campus and virtual employer recruiting activities.
- Administering employer activity, including employer account management and approvals, in primary recruitment platform Bullseye (powered by Handshake).
- Serving as the primary operational hub for employer inquiries by managing shared communications and coordinating next steps across the Employer Relations team.
- Developing, documenting, and continuously improving recruiting workflows, operational procedures, and service processes that enhance efficiency and the employer to student experience.
- Demonstrating a consistent level of service and professionalism as a representative of the Employer Relations team.
- Contributing to the implementation and assessment of the employer relations and external engagement strategic plan, in support of UB student engagement and success.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience or bachelor's degree is required
- Demonstrated experience coordinating recruiting operations, administrative workflows, human resources processes, client services, project coordination, or similar operational functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, solve problems independently, and manage competing deadlines, especially during peak busy seasons.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- High level of comfort learning and administering technology platforms (ex: Handshake, Asana).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, client relationship management, or business operations.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, or online recruitment systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Physical Demands
Salary Range
$54,090 - $56,430
