Northeastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Program is a two-year experiential program designed to advance lifelong learning and the education and training of Pharm.D. graduates. A key element of the program's success is preparing Fellows to meet evolving workforce needs across various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry.

Fellows have the opportunity to work closely with our innovative biopharmaceutical industry partners, while engaging with Northeastern University faculty in professional and career development, teaching, service, and scholarly activities.

In partnership with Northeastern University, Domp is offering a two-year fellowship in Global Medical Affairs - Medical Information & Operations and Medical Communications, based remotely.

The Pharmacy Postdoctoral Fellow will join the Global Medical Information & Operations and Medical Communications teams for a two-year commitment, where they will be immersed in a variety of Global Medical Affairs activities. Year 1 is a dedicated immersion in Medical Information & Operations (6 months) and Medical Communications (6 months). Year 2 consists of two 6-month rotations in Global Medical Affairs functions, selected from: Medical Engagement Strategy, Evidence Generation (Integrated Evidence Generation, Real-World Evidence Generation, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Payer Engagement), Patient Advocacy, and Field Medical. Throughout Year 2, the fellow will continue to dedicate approximately 25% of their time to the Medical Information & Operations and/or Medical Communication teams, with the remaining time devoted to the active rotation. The fellow will also have the opportunity to learn about various industry functions such as Research & Development (Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics), Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, or the Commercial Organization through longitudinal projects. The fellow will also have the opportunity to attend Medical Congresses. Rotations may be extended at the discretion of the rotation supervisor. Other rotations can be arranged based on availability and interest of the fellow.

Responsibilities

Global Medical Information & Operations and Medical Communications:

Example job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop medical response letters, slide decks, infographics, videos and literature summaries for both internal and external stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally to support execution of the Global Medical Strategy for the assigned product/disease area
Provide medical review support of medical and promotional materials.
Support medical information contact center operations, including escalation handling and analysis of inquiry volume and trend metrics
Provide training on the assigned product/disease area to contact center staff, Medical Affairs vendor partners, and Field Medical teams
Support the development and maintenance of the Key Scientific Platform for the assigned product/disease area
Develop enduring materials for Medical Affairs booth and support the execution of the booth
Attend relevant medical congresses to support the Medical Affairs booth, attend sessions and medical education symposia and provide summary reports
Lead and execute a longitudinal research project
Precept APPE students on rotation, as opportunities arise

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution
Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the State of Massachusetts
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong time management and leadership abilities
Strong clinical acumen or the ability to develop disease area-specific acumen
Ability to work independently, collaborate in a cross-functional environment across multiple time zone, and take initiative on a variety of projects at both the industry site and Northeastern
Demonstrated interest in Medical Information and Medical Communications through rotation experience, industry internships, or relevant coursework

Expected Hiring Range:

$60,315.00 - $85,192.50
