Job Details

This is a grant-supported Senior Research Analyst (full-time or part-time) position with anticipated funding through 2030. The individual will be assigned to 'Growing Up Healthy: Pre/postnatal substance exposure, maternal distress, and adolescent risk behaviors: Role of parent-child interpersonal processes at macro and micro time scales' under the supervision of Craig Colder, PhD., Rina Eiden, PhD., and Meghan Leising, Ed.M., and will be an employee of The Research Foundation for SUNY.

This is a continuation of a multi-method, longitudinal study of tobacco and cannabis exposed children and their mothers recruited in the 1st trimester of pregnancy. The current phase of the study will examine adolescent's social and emotional growth, health experiences and health habits, the parent child relationship, the development of social skills and peer networks, and the ways that children's environment influence these aspects of development. Assessments will take place with families in early, middle and late adolescence.

Incumbent receives general direction for most activities. Incumbent receives more direct supervision when experimental or unusual processes are involved, and is expected to consult with their supervisor or Project Director as needed.
