Position Description
Performs administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and program. Performs varied and complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and the application of established policies and procedures. May provide supervision and direction to clerical, paraprofessional or professional staff members.

About the Department and/or College


Major/Essential Functions
  • Provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight of TSI program ensuring alignment with institutional goals and state regulations.
  • Directly supervise instructional staff including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and ongoing coaching to ensure effective delivery of instruction and achievement of program outcomes.
  • Direct and lead curriculum development and instructional quality initiatives, apply best practices in development education to improve student learning and progression.
  • Ensure compliance with THECB and TSI regulations, ensuring all placement, instruction, and program processes meet required standards.
  • Provide oversight and final review of CBM reporting and audit processes in collaboration with the Data Analyst to ensuring accuracy, accountability, and adherence to reporting standards.
  • Analyze student performance, enrollment trends, and program data to inform decision-making related to scheduling, staffing, and continuous program improvement.
  • Oversees course scheduling strategy and resources allocation, ensuring alignment with student demand,
  • instructional capacity, and institutional goals.
  • Provides program-level leadership through training, issue resolution, and institutional representation, including advising campus partners, resolving complex student cases, and serving on committees and cross-functional initiatives.


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Four years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Education or related field with prior teaching experience and demonstrated management or supervisory experience.

Pay Range
$53,900 - $70,100 - $86,200
