Postdoctoral Researcher in Cardiovascular Research

Location: University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine
Open Date: Mar 03, 2026
Deadline:

The laboratory of Dr. Yanqing (Anna) Gong in the Cardiovascular Institute at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking one or two highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellows to join a research project investigating vascular function and immunity in cardiovascular disease.

We aim at understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiac repair after myocardial infarction with a focus on vessel tube formation, endothelial cell plasticity and immune modulation. The goal of this study is to develop new regenerative therapeutics by targeting hostile ischemic microenvironment to promote cardiac repair after myocardial infarction. We are also interested in immunotherapy for cardiovascular disease using CAR-T or engineered myeloid cells, promising strategies that our laboratories have developed for treating cancer.
