JOB TITLE:

Project Coordinator - Real Estate and Space Management

JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinate the operational, financial and personnel functions of a designated project under limited supervision; provide training to staff and/or program participants; assist Real Estate and Space Management with other related project functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate the administrative, financial and operational activities of assigned real estate, space management, and facilities-related projects.
  • Support the planning and implementation of projects by consulting with Campus Operations units, and other stakeholders to identify needs, requirements and constraints.
  • Represent Real Estate and Space Management and the University at meetings, working groups, and project-related discussions.
  • Coordinate preparation, review and quality control of project and institutional decision-making materials.
  • Assist in developing project goals, objectives, and timelines, and support ongoing assessment of progress.
  • Assist in developing funding strategies and project documentation.
  • Assist in developing project budget recommendations and monitoring expenditures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and, as appropriate, external partners or vendors.
  • Perform related special projects and duties as assigned in support of departmental and Campus Operations priorities.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
  • May provide guidance and informational support, as directed, to campus departments or project participants related to real estate, space management or facilities-related processes.
  • May serve as a departmental representative on university division, or committee workgroups, as directed.
  • May perform additional special assignments or project-related duties, as assigned, in support of departmental and Campus Operations priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience (4 years experience)

Experience: 1 year work-related experience

Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience in an educational or real estate setting is preferred.
