Job Overview
The Project Manager is a full-time staff position at Georgetown University in the Cancer Prevention and Control Program of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. The lab conducts intervention research in the areas of cancer screening, cancer genetic testing, and cancer treatment decision making, with the goal of improving care delivery within precision oncology. The Project Manager will work directly with the PI and other staff to support the development and execution of extramurally funded cancer research.
The focus of the position is it to oversee the management of clinical trials in cancer screening navigation and well as the planning and development of new grant proposals. Project Manager will additionally ensure regulatory compliance and perform data analysis for trial reporting and publication purposes as needed. A background in Psychology or Public Health is a plus.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Oversees execution of multisite trials. Analyzes data for tracking and reporting purposes
- Performs data analysis and preparation of reports
- Preparation of IRB protocols and materials with limited supervision
- Contribution and coordination of grant applications, progress reports and study manuscripts
- Maintaining and developing data management pipelines and procedures
- Oversee study staff in implementing clinical trials
Work Interactions
The Project Manager interacts closely with faculty, staff and trainees in the Cancer Prevention and Control Program of Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as well as oncology clinicians, community advisors, and external research collaborators.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of related experience in a clinical research setting; Master's degree preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft software, statistical software, Redcap, Workday, Qualtrics
- Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across teams

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
