Primary Purpose of Organization Unit:
The Office of University School Partnerships and Clinical Practice is responsible for all clinical field placements for the Educator Preparation Program at UNCP. It also works with local districts to develop, monitor, and maintain strong partnerships; provides professional development opportunities for faculty, staff, candidates, and local educators; and coordinates events for local PK-12 students.

Primary Purpose of Position:
The Administrative Support Associate will work closely with the Director of University School Partnerships and Clinical Practice to enact the policies and procedures that guide the work of the office. This position will serve as the primary initial contact for the office and will the necessary clerical tasks that support the work of the Educator Preparation Program.

Job Description:
The Administrative Associate provides coordination and support for the goals and objectives of the University School Partnerships and Clinical Practice for the UNCP School of Education. Specifically, the Administrative Associate manages the day-to-day office operations that support all related initiatives. Areas of assignments may include coordinating events and clinical placements of teacher candidates, collecting and organizing documents and data, and assisting students and faculty with questions regarding clinical experiences. In addition to the traditional duties outlined below, the Administrative Associate will assume responsibility for office management tasks as directed by the Director of USP-CP.

Management Preference:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional office environment and a high level of proficiency with modern office equipment and computer applications.
