Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, the Associate Provost provides a centralized level of strategic support and oversight for graduate programs throughout the University.
The Associate Provost, in collaboration with the deans and senior leadership in the Provost's Office, will engage market research to shape Fordham's portfolio of graduate programs, align program modalities with student demand, provide strategic guidance to the University's marketing team to reach key populations of prospective students, assist in realizing Fordham's DEI goals, and help set the enrollment target for each degree program during the annual budget planning process.
Additionally this position will oversee the management of online graduate programs, model continuing student behavior, track all aspects of the various graduate student admissions funnels through Slate, and provide regular forecasts of graduate enrollments for senior leadership.
Essential Functions
- Works closely with the Deans' Offices to understand existing graduate academic program offerings and the student populations they serve
- Conducts market research to help shape the portfolio of Fordham's graduate program offerings and quantify student and employer demand for high-profile graduate programs
- Works closely with relevant deans to set realistic program enrollment goals each year
- Compiles recruiting activities and promotes proven enrollment practices across all graduate programs
- Develops and coordinates recruiting master calendar for graduate programs at Fordham
- Sets marketing objectives for each graduate program in close collaboration with relevant dean and the graduate marketing team
- Builds dashboard to monitor graduate enrollment funnels across all programs in real time

Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Masters degree
- Minimum 7 years of related experience in Higher Education.
Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of admissions, recruitment, and financial aid strategies, with particular emphasis on how they apply to graduate education.
- Experience with interpreting market research data and developing marketing strategies
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to DEI practices.
- Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D.
- Experience in a similar position working with academic leaders across a range of graduate programs.
Minimum Starting Salary: $144,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $180,000
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
