About the Position:
The Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Programs (DIEP) supports the University's mission of preparing our diverse student body for academic and professional success. Specifically, DIEP endeavors to facilitate practice, offer programming, and influence policies across the broad spectrum of inclusivity, equity and civility. These endeavors promote a campus community wherein students, staff and faculty are engaged in the values of inclusive excellence. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Workforce Diversity Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Exempt I). The ideal candidate in this role should have a demonstrated commitment inclusion, equity-minded practices, and can work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.

The Workforce Diversity Analyst is responsible for supporting the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Programs with technical support and analysis for decision making, assessing program effectiveness, and the academic personnel recruitment process. As a member of the Office's Academic Talent Management team, the Workforce Diversity Analyst will work collaboratively with the Faculty Diversity Officer and Assistant Vice President for Diversity, Inclusion and Equity on planning, reporting and assessing action-oriented programs designed to meet institutional strategic priorities and address equity gaps in employment. The Workforce Diversity Analyst queries systems, conducts analysis on workforce diversity data, and reports summaries of results in the forms of various CSU and federally required workforce reports. The position provides regular reports and data to divisional and campus leadership on new faculty hires, faculty salaries, the status of faculty searches, and other related activities. Serves as the main contact for placement of job advertisements tenure track, full time lecturers, visiting and part time faculty positions. Completes academic recruitment forms and maintains records of active academic recruitment activities including those that will advance the institutional strategic priorities. Performs other duties as assigned.






Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs plus two years of related experience.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Experience working with an HRIS or comparable systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and similar products. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Prior experience working effectively and collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment. Excellent written and communication skills.
Working knowledge of and the ability to apply standard theories, principles, practices, and techniques applicable to the program or administrative specialty to develop conclusions and make recommendations. Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and outside regulations pertaining to the applicable program or administrative specialty. Working knowledge of operational and fiscal analysis and techniques. Ability to take initiative and plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved. Skilled in research, development, and evaluation of policies and programs. Ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret data to develop sound conclusions and make appropriate recommendations. Expertise investigating and analyzing problems with broad administrative impact and implications. Ability to anticipate problems and address them proactively. Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret, organize, and present information and ideas in written or presentation form. Ability to train others on new skills and procedures and provide lead work direction.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment.
