JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
For Summer 2021, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) will be offering a wide range of virtual summer programs focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for student in grades 9-12. Programs are one to four weeks in length, in disciplines such as biology, computer science, data science, electrical and computer engineering, materials science & engineering, robotics, and more! JOB DESCRIPTION

The Office of Pre-collegiate Outreach Programs is seeking to hire part-time instructors for our summer academic programs with students in grades 9-12. These positions are created to provide an available applicant pool for our office and will be filled on an as needed basis. Start dates will vary depending on the program offerings.

All applicants require excellent interpersonal skills, good judgement, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A successful instructor will also exhibit a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and an interest to work with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Qualified applicants will be contacted by the Office of Pre-collegiate Oureach Programs (POP). Your application will remain in the pool until the posting closes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Middle or high school science, technology, engineering, or mathematics teacher.

A strong internet connection, webcam, computer, and additional technology needed.

Conditional offer pending a criminal background check.

COMPENSATION:

Payments range, depending on the program
