Basic Function:
We seek to hire a post-doctoral researcher to join our research team which includes faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students, for the DHS-sponsored Policy Enforcement and Access Control for Endpoints (PEACE) project.

The post-doctoral researcher will help the team build and integrate these elements. A deep expertise in computer security, machine learning, and/or visualization is desired.
Responsibilities:
Initial research funding for the post-doctoral position is available for 12 months with the potential for extensions.

- Statistical modeling of normal and anomalous traffic
- Empirical study and evaluation of network policies and their effectiveness.
An interest in security research and a proven track record of high-quality research and academic excellence are expected. Experience with machine learning is desirable but not a must. Excellent written and verbal communication in English are required.
