JOB DESCRIPTION

The Office of Pre-collegiate Outreach Programs is seeking to hire high school students who are looking for a summer opportunity focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This position provides an opportunity to expose students to academic research. The responsibilities of the High School Apprentice will include participating in orientation, completing lab safety training, and working in your lab up to 40 hours per week as agreed upon with your faculty/lab manager. No overtime hours are permitted.

DATES:

June 25 - August 13, 2021

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a Massachusetts high school student.

Must be at least 16 years old and currently in their sophomore, junior, or senior year in high school.

COMPENSATION:

$13.50 per hour
