Description
Responsibilities:

Deliver mail, packages, duplication, and stores items to campus offices

Collect outgoing mail, inter-campus mail, and duplication orders from same designated campus locations

Pick-up and deliver postal supplies to departments on this route

Deliver mail and packages to the United States Post Office (PO)

Deliver and assist in logging incoming packages during peak times of the year, or when deemed necessary by the Senior Director of Campus Services

Assist Materials Control Handler with warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and campus deliveries during peak times of the year, or when deemed necessary by the Senior Director of Campus Services

Miscellaneous:

Assist and serve as emergency backup to full time staff

Assist the Senior Director and other General Services staff members, including but not limited to central stores, receiving, mail, and duplication functions

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Technology Skills:

Must be proficient in Word and Excel

Knowledge of Outlook

Knowledge of use of package database

Education:

High school diploma

Physical Demands:

Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. occasionally

Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of the position

Other:

Must have a valid driver's license
Must be insurable under the university's insurance
Must work well under pressure, maintain a daily schedule, and adjust to change
Excellent organizational skills
Able to work on their own, yet be a team member
Good customer service and communication skills
Maintain confidentiality
Experience in mail and/or receiving
Work in inclement weather
Neat appearance necessary
