The Department of Marketing and Communications is seeking a Communications Coordinator to provide a variety of communications support to the Rollins College of Business and the Probasco Chair of Free Enterprise through event and program coordination and as well as a variety of communication projects. The Communications Coordinator supports the implementation of the department's strategic communications plan by researching, creating and implementing effective and innovative communications including original publications, articles, graphics, web content, press releases, social media content and other messaging. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications but will also work directly with the Probasco Chair of Free Enterprise and other staff within the College of Business, as well as with personnel in other areas of campus as needed.
Responsibilities include creating content for and manages of the website, marketing materials and social media channels for Rollins College of Business and the Probasco Chair of Free Entrerprise; event and program planning, support and coordination; coordinating the RCOB Communication Plan with oversight by Director to support public relations activities for the College of Business and the Probasco Chair.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Excellent communications, organizational and multi-tasking skills to prioritize work to meet deadlines and handle urgent matters while staying on task with other assigned duties and responsibilities
- Knowledge of social media strategy and content creation, experience with CRM and website management, email marketing, copy writing for a variety of audiences, knowledge of the Adobe Design Suite (particularly InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator), Camtasia, and photography skills are preferred.

Minimum Qualifications: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; one to three years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, website design/management, or other related fields. Specialized training in a communications or marketing field may substitute for experience.
