Job Summary
Club Sports is seeking Certified Athletic Trainers to work at home games, generally weekends, from September 2019 - March 2020. Position is part time and temporary, with multiple hires possible to fill scheduling needs.

Responsibilities*
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Providing treatment and management of athletic injuries before, during, and after athletic events
Performing evaluation of athletic injuries and make decisions regarding the ability to return to play
Following concussion protocols and oversee the administration of baseline concussion testing as well as testing following a suspected concussion
Recommending flexibility and strengthening exercises for the prevention of injuries

Required Qualifications*
State of Michigan and BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with a bachelor's degree in a related field of study and First Aid/CPR certification is required. Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as previous work experience as an athletic trainer. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently, as well as work successfully in a team environment. The ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations is a must. Must upload copies of certifications as part of resume.
