Job Summary
Club Sports is seeking Certified Athletic Trainers to work at home games, generally weekends, from September 2019 - March 2020. Position is part time and temporary, with multiple hires possible to fill scheduling needs.

Responsibilities*
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing treatment and management of athletic injuries before, during, and after athletic events

  • Performing evaluation of athletic injuries and make decisions regarding the ability to return to play

  • Following concussion protocols and oversee the administration of baseline concussion testing as well as testing following a suspected concussion

  • Recommending flexibility and strengthening exercises for the prevention of injuries

Required Qualifications*
State of Michigan and BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with a bachelor's degree in a related field of study and First Aid/CPR certification is required. Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as previous work experience as an athletic trainer. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently, as well as work successfully in a team environment. The ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations is a must. Must upload copies of certifications as part of resume.
