As part of the implementation of Maricopa's strategic commitments and transformational plan, Dr. Maria Harper-Marinick, Chancellor of the Maricopa County Community College District (the "District") is now prepared to continue the momentum and invites all highly qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the position of Chandler-Gilbert Community College President.

Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) is one of the fastest-growing colleges in the Maricopa District. It is an inclusive college highly connected to the communities it serves in the East Valley. In its short life of 25 years it has grown to serving nearly 20,000 students at two fully comprehensive campuses and an educational center. CGCC is a learning-centered college where renown faculty facilitate students becoming active learners. The college is committed to transformational and experiential learning, including civic engagement, service-learning, learning communities, undergraduate research, internships, and workforce development.

As chief executive officer of the College, the next President will be committed to leading Chandler-Gilbert Community College as a critical partner in the implementation of Maricopa County Community College District's strategic commitments and transformational plan. The District is one of the largest Community College Districts in the nation (200,000 students). It is recognized as one of the most innovative community college organizations in the country.
