Position Information
The Assistant Coordinator will provide operational and personnel support both the Ropes and Youth programs. This position has direct involvement in the planning and implementation of activities being held under both programs. The incumbent will assist with the budget, equipment inventory and maintenance, facilities inspections, staff hiring and training, enforce safety and document incidents, supervise staff and coordinate events for both programs. This is a limited position, without the possibility of converting to a career appointment; incumbent will not work more than a total of 900-hours.


Minimum Requirements
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
Specialized knowledge of program activity and industry best practices.
Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications relevant to job duties.
Service orientation, program management, sound judgment and decision-making, critical thinking, develop original ideas, creative problem solving skills.
Client service minded, entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking skills to resolve issues.
Leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across the organization, internally and externally.


Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of campus policies and procedures.
