Under the direction of the Director and Associate Directors of the Office of Graduate Studies and in collaboration with the OGS Evaluators, the Graduate Degree Audit Analyst will utilize knowledge of CSU academic regulations and CSUF academic polices and practices to maintain and update encoded academic rules, regulations, and policies in the advising/degree audit system and related systems. The Graduate Degree Audit Analyst encodes newly approved program or course changes and degree requirements in the degree audit system. Creates new codes to include other academic degree programs and courses not currently in the system. Contributes to the development of strategies for the integration of advising/degree audit system and develops strategies to implement online access to the advising/degree audit system, which will provide advising/degree audits campus-wide. Coordinates all activities related to planning, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Titan Degree Audit (TDA). In collaboration with the OGS Evaluators and following the approval of the Director or Associate Director, the Graduate Degree Audit Analyst will process degree audit adjustments for individual students and ensure the completeness and accuracy of the Graduate Degree Audit system. The Graduate Degree Audit Analyst will also serve as the expert in OGS in regards to TDA and related support systems, contributes to development of workflow and business process systems, provides data from TDA and supporting systems, and participates in enhancement and automation projects related to TDA processes. The Graduate Degree Audit Analyst will assist with training and advising faculty, advisors, and staff on questions or issues related to the audit system; responds to student inquiries related to the system. Other duties as assigned.


Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent training and administrative work involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. Basic knowledge of the general practices, program or administrative specialty; basic knowledge of and ability to apply fundamental concepts; ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit, or administrative specialty; knowledge of and ability to apply basic methods and procedures used for research and statistical analysis; ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques. Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgement, handle multiple priorities, and organize and plan work assignments; ability to compile, write and present reports related to program or administrative specialty. Possession of strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships; ability to take initiative and independently plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved.
