Detailed Description:
The Economics Department in the School of Business at the University of San Diego is seeking adjunct faculty candidates to teach various courses during the 2020-21 academic year with potential opportunities to also be offered in 2021-22 academic year.

Specific responsibilities include:

Teaching one or more of the following courses: ECON 101, ECON 102, ECON 216 (course descriptions are included below).
Working with the Department of Economics chair and faculty to improve instructional materials and class activities to enhance student's learning outcomes and engagement.
Collecting relevant course data for the Economics program assessment and course improvement purposes.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in any field (Economics is preferred) or a related field, and a Master's degree in Economics.
A strong interest in teaching undergraduate-level courses.
Prior teaching experience is highly preferred.

Posting Salary:
Consistent with the School of Business part-time faculty compensation rate.
