Job Summary
To assist surgical team during operative procedures by preparing sterile equipment for the operation and passing instruments, sponges and sutures to the operating team. Assist with inventory, sterilization of instruments, prepare and select equipment for procedures, transfer of patients as needed, turnover and transfer of instruments to CSPD/Decontamination and putting equipment back in place. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications*
Surgical Technologist Intermediate: Certification and/or satisfactory completion of an equivalent Surgical Technology training program or a program pending immediate accrediation. Highly motivated and organized. Good interpersonal/team skills.

Surgical Technologist Senior: Certification and/or satisfactory completion of an equivalent Surgical Technology training program or a program pending immediate accrediation plus 2 years of experience. Highly motivated and organized. Good interpersonal/team skills.

Desired Qualifications*
Experience as a Surgical Technologist.Ability to scrub all services.

Work Schedule
Full time, 40hrsShift/Days: Day/Evening rotation, with call and holiday obligation.

This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
