Job Details

Under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager, the incumbent will supervise the Medical Assistants (MAs), who are responsible for assisting physicians and professional nursing staff in providing care and treatment of patients. This position will also be responsible for the staffing and retention of the MA staff, and other personnel activities directly related to the employees. This position will directly assist the medical director and the nurse manager with training activities for MAs to support the providers in a high volume ambulatory primary care setting.

Working knowledge of insurance and claims-related processes.

Knowledge of performance management standards and human resources related policies and procedures.

Computer skills including EHR medical practice management software.
