Responsibilities*
Minimum salary for this position is $4,937 per course. The Department of Communication Studies at the University of Michigan-Flint seeks a Lecturer 1 beginning in the Fall 2019 semester. The primary course to be covered is COM 200: Introduction to Human Communication, in both a traditional on campus format and as part of our Dual Enrollment Education Program (DEEP).The successful candidate must be able to commute to off campus locations. We seek a candidate with evidence of effective teaching at the college level, and a student centered approach to learning. There is a possibility of teaching other classes in the candidate's area of expertise in the Winter 2020 semester.

Required Qualifications*
Master's Degree or higher in Communication; Demonstrated record of teaching excellence at the college level.

Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
