JOB TITLE:
Program Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE:
Assist with and coordinate Limited Submission and seed grant competitions, grant coordination, Medicine Bow National Forest research permitting processes, and PIVOT searches/Opportunity Requests; assist with student research and research impacts programs; coordinate meetings and event planning; assist with EPSCoR-IDeA state activities and Research Development Office (RDO) projects; and coordinate office communications, PR, website, and social media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage meetings and event planning, which may include state meetings, professional development workshops, team building and networking meetings, mentoring events, UW Research Week, weekly meetings, and coordination of activities and committee meetings.
- Assist with managing and coordinating the process for limited grant submissions, seed and grants.
- Assist with the management of Funding Opportunity Plans, PIVOT searches, and collaborations with Industry and Strategic Partnerships and the UW Foundation.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the website, PR, development of the newsletter, manage general office e-mails, office announcements, and communications.
- Facilitate reporting, data collection, and analysis related to proposal submissions, awards, and office activity. Track EPSCoR/IDeA awards and activities and collect data related to submissions, awards, and highlights.
- Assist with student research and research impacts programs.
This position is grant funded and considered at-will employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 1 year work-related experience
Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience working in a research or STEM educational outreach setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with public relations communications, social media, and website management
- Familiarity with the University of Wyoming and UW systems
- Experience with project coordination, data management, event planning, and general office experience
- Experience with grant writing, coordination, or proposal development

WORK LOCATION:
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work on campus.
